Audenshaw Digital Freedom Association

ADFA is a group at Audenshaw School (website) about digital freedom. Digital freedom is about the rights that people should have when using a computer, its software and networks (the internet).

Most human rights are well established, and most people are aware of the struggle. However, computers is an area where there has been little discussion about rights. Debate about this issue is important, since computers have become fundamental part of most people's lives.

[edit] Issues

The different issues have been grouped into a series of different projects. Our main focuses will be the movement to stop DRM; trying to make people think about what copying really is; and the different aspects of software liberty.
